Creating Space In Your Kitchen

When you cook for a lot of people, having more space in your kitchen seems like an impossible dream. It allows you more room to prepare your dishes. It gives you more room to move around. However, when you design your kitchen right you can create more space without expanding your floor area.

An easy way to create more space is to just install kitchen pantry cabinets. You can use kitchen pantry cabinets to store your dry foods instead of leaving them out on the counter top. By arranging the shelves right, you can store canned foods or bulky items like food processing machines. You can even attach a door rack to your pantry door for more space.

Another way of creating space is through the use of kitchen islands and carts. You can install sinks, stoves or ovens with permanent kitchen islands. It can make things as convenient as turning around to go from the sink to the stove. A small breakfast bar or eating counter can be set up on your kitchen island. Some people install kitchen islands right out of the box with no modifications. You get both extra usable space as well as storage space with kitchen islands.

If your kitchen is smaller than you like, you can use a portable kitchen island instead. The difference is you get the same benefits except on wheels. During times when you don’t need the mobile kitchen island, you can simply leave it at one side of the kitchen that is out of the way. The great thing is you can even use portable kitchen islands outside of the kitchen!

You have a buffet counter on wheels just by covering it with a nice table cloth. You can place foods like appetizers, fruits or drinks on the top and wheel it out into your dining or living room. And with the space underneath, you can store extra supplies to replenish the food when it gets low.

Creating more space in your kitchen can be easily done with a few simple ideas.
